Leonardo da Vinci Engineering

Yeay after all the hard work, group discussions, meetings with professors, extreme stress of working under pressure, sleepless nights and a bit of misunderstanding between team members, our group project has finally come to an end. We've done it, Leonardo da Vinci Engineering!!!

Before I start explaining what our project is all about, let me enlighten you all with a lil bit of information on the group project. The project is a compulsory module for bachelor's degree programs at Hochschule Niederrhein. The aim of the module is the development of solutions to problems that occur to engineer on daily basis. So it's like a preparation for us before entering the working world as engineers. It'll be graded by the professors and 7 ECTS points will be credited to each student.

So enough with that, let's take a look at what our group has done for this project.

Our group logo made by Darwin
The name of our group is Leonardo da Vinci Engineering

Our group consists of 7 students : Mahmut, Luigi, Darwin, Siti, Kemal, Cavit and I.

I'm really happy that all our hard work has finally paid off. It was a very good experience to work in a multiracial group with such different backgrounds. We've learnt a lot from each other. I would like to thank everyone who has made this group project a great success. Such a memorable experience!

InTrend 2.0

Ok I was really surprised because of two reasons : Firstly, I never thought that this blog would be featured again in InTrend magazine after being featured last time in 2011 for the November issue. Click here to read about that. Secondly is the fact that this blog still gets attention even though the blog fever is over.

I got to know about this blog being featured in InTrend from Amir Aizat, one of the bloggers whose blog got featured as well. Surprised I was but kinda excited, I immediately asked my dad to go out and get a copy of the magazine so that he can scan the article and send it to me. :) Thank you ayah for the pics!

Two screen captures from this blog with the new header..I'm so honoured. Thanks InTrend for this feature. Really appreciate it a lot...

Till the next post..

Hallo Haarlem!

Introducing Haarlem...No it's not the Harlem Shake ye kawan2...
This is Haarlem, a wonderful, medieval city in North Holland. Haarlem has a lot to offer : a lively cultural scene, excellent shopping experience and also great dining opportunities.

Haarlem is also famous as the proto name of Harlem in New York. Also not forgetting the story about a young Dutch boy who became the hero of Haarlem when he saves his country by putting his finger in a leaking dike. Remember this? I know I do.

I was in Haarlem last week with Ayah James, Darwin and Fizz. We fell in love with the beautiful classic buildings it has to offer. Walking along the streets somehow creates a reminiscence of the medieval time few hundred years ago. Simply amazing...

 Grote Markt Haarlem (Central Market)

Oh lovely vintage luggage...I want one!!!

Weird looking trees...
