Life is a series of choices...

The title says it all...life is full of choices..Endless choices that we have to go through every single day without fail... We have to make choices in life regarding almost every aspect, down to the smallest details. Your day is filled with decision making from the time you wake up in the morning until the time you go back to bed at night.
How do we escape from making choices? It is simply impossible. Without us noticing it, we might be making hundreds of choices every day...Nothing to be surprised huh?
Imagine having to make choices on the clothes you’re gonna wear to school or workplace...the breakfast meal, be it cereal, French toast, hash brown or nasi lemak?, the song that you’re gonna listen during your journey to school or workplace and many more..Choices revolves around us...we can’t do anything but to make good choices and hoping for the best after making them.
This reminds me of the poem “The road not taken” by Robert Frost. You see, you have to make choices at critical times and choosing a road between two pathways is definitely not easy. You’ll have to weigh the pros and cons of both sides and it can be really stressful at times to think deeply and come up with a good decision and the most important thing is not regretting it.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

"The Road Not Taken" seems to illustrate that once one takes a certain road, there is no turning back. Although one might change paths later on, the past cannot be changed. It can be seen as showing that choice is very important, and is a thing to be considered. And that you will never know what the other path was like, so you may regret never knowing (the sigh), although it was still worth it because you made the right choice by knowing that you were able to exercise your personal freedom and independence. ( Source from Wikipedia)

“The choices you make in the present will impact your future, and your vision for tomorrow will guide you in making the right choices today!”
Every day is filled with dilemmas on making the right choices...I, myself always got stuck in the dilemma zone where making the right decision has never been my cup of tea. Haha...I can never escape from making wrong decisions; experience the mistakes I’ve made, regretting from doing them and learning then after.
Remember this face? Muka "confused" nabeyl
Why did I write this post, you might ask? Well, it has come to the period of time where I have to make one of the most crucial decisions in my life..That is regarding my studies..The choice I make will affect my future and change my life forever..I have not come out with a decision yet..still thinking and weighing my options...doing research and trying to visualize my future if I make certain choices...so yeah..I’m hoping that everything will turn out great....Insha’Allah...

A weekend like no other...

Finally the weekend I've been waiting for has arrived...My weekends in Germany have never been this fun..Normally I would just go out to Neumarkt or Hauptbahnhof or Museum or just simply hang out at my place doing nothing else besides going online or watching movies....hurm..

It was a last minute plan for this weekend but alhamdullillah everything turned out awesome.I was chatting with a German friend, Tony when I suddenly thought of going to Essen on the weekends...There was another plan actually but it had to be cancelled due to some difficulties and time constraint..yeah.So zoooshhh to Essen it was...zooshhh tu as if like bunyi kereta api konon bajet laju tapi lembab kot.Tak kisah sebab murah dan murah dan murah.Murah penting ye adik2..student kot.

Kalau convert 37 euro maybe agak mahal..but2 this ticket allows you to take up to 4 people together..so total 5 people for 37.euro.murah kan...Unfortunately only Rumitha and I wanted to go to Essen..the others were busy with other events...

When the first culture shock wasn't enough...

Transformation from a nerdy boy to a konon-kaw-hengat-kaw-hawtness boy

What's up with this transformation thingy? Oh well, let me tell you guys a bit of here and there about my activities in Cologne for the past few days...As I have mentioned in my previous post, the celebration event will start from Thursday with Weiberfastnacht (Women’s Carnival Day) followed by Rosenmontag (Rose Monday) and ends on Aschermittwoch (Ash Wednesday).

So my friends and I took the opportunity to join the crowd during the "crazy days" event and we took part on three consecutive days after the Karneval celebration started. The first one is what I had posted earlier on my blog..the karneval celebration...

Here comes the second and the third day( Rosenmontag) where the celebrations get hotter and more happening. The differences between this event and Weiberfastnacht are the present of colourful and exciting parades, Kamelle (sweets, candies, chocolates and etc.), and Struessjer ( Flowers). These are the main attractions for the Rosenmontag event where Kamelle and Struessjer are given out for free by the act of throwing them to the crowd...How cool is that? The most important thing to bare in mind when we're going to celebrate this event is to bring along a huge bag so that we can collect all the goodies we're getting...Yeah!!!

The typical greeting during the festival is "Kölle Alaaf!"...There's a popular song with this greeting which I think I could go on humming it forever....Haha

Since most of the people dressed up for the Karneval, I thought why not, I could also give it a try.So I went there dressing up as a nerd on Sunday..and as a wannabe-hawt-guy on Monday..Owh boy how fun that was!!!
Collecting Kamelle was the best part I think..not forgetting the amount of roses we managed to collect on both days....best2...

I think it's better to explain the events through pictures...so yeah..Enjoy...

My favourite pic on Sonntag ( Sunday).Nampak meriah sangat!!!

Nerd kena la add nerdy kan...

Frau Minrad gave us some of her Karneval decorations...

On Sunday, we could see the parades organised by schools in Cologne and other places in NRW. Participants are mostly primary and secondary school students

 Macam2 ada....
There are also groups of people coming from various companies in Cologne

 Teruja gambar best...

Sebab ramai sangat...view pown xlah secantik yang diharapkan..

We managed to squeeze our way to the front..hasilnya gambar lebey memuaskan dan Kamelle yang mampu dikutip dengan lebey gigih...

Imagine how many tonnes of Kamelle were given out on that day...
13 tonnes if im not mistaken..omg..that's a lot..

Tschuess from Nabeyl !!!

Till next time...
