Entrance ticket to the Atomium for an adult is €11. With a student ID you'll only need to pay €8.

The Atomium offers a 360° panoramic view of the 19 municipalities of Brussels from The Panorama at level 7. If the weather is superb, you'll be able to get a clear view until Antwerp.

Permanent Exhibition
There's a permanent exhibition named "Atomium. From symbol to icon" which spread over 2 floors (levels 1 & 2) and the panorama (level 7). It tells the history of this pavillion and how it became the symbol of the city of Brussels and of Belgium.

Most of the spheres are connected by stairs. Only the Panorama at level 7 is connected via lift with a speed of 5 metres per second making it the fastest lift in Europe in 1958.

Temporary exhibition on level 3. When I was there, the temporary exhibition was called "Wow is Now : Innovative Objects of Today & Tomorrow. The temporary exhibition changes every 4 months.

View from the Atomium during sunset...Amahzinggg!

Here's a video of us going down the escalator from level 3.

#nabeylturns24

Wow time really flies..I'm officially 24 this year..23 was a fantastic year but I have the feeling that this year would be a better one. I'm a step closer to finishing my degree and I'm happy that even though it has been an extremely crazy roller coaster ride, I managed to keep calm and kept on going with the support from my family and friends. I'm sure you guys would like to bombard me with all the cliché questions like when are you coming back, when are you getting a job, when are you getting married and so on.

Well I’m still young, but I’m not that young. I don’t want to get married, but I could see myself settling down in a few years if I meet the right girl. I can't be sure when I'll be coming back but if everything goes on as planned I should be finishing my degree by end of this year InshaAllah. About getting a job, we'll see what will happen in the year to come after I finish my studies. :) So doakan everything goes on well yeah!

On the 12th of February I celebrated my birthday with my friends in Krefeld. My housemate, Darwin teamed up with the others to plan a birthday gathering at our place. The flour-and-egg-throwing-tradition was omitted this year due to my persistence in reminding my friends that I hate getting egged and floured. But we still keep the sweet tradition "acara suap-menyuap kek". :)

I would like to say thank you so much to my friends who have planned this gathering and made my birthday a wonderful and memorable one.
I heart you all!!!
