Mom's Day Out

By the time I publish this post..my mom would be on the plane half way crossing the Mediterranean Sea, on the way back to home sweet home Malaysia....I will surely miss you, Mak...Thanx for the unforgettable and exciting moments we've spent while you were in Europe for the past two weeks...This post is dedicated to you...

First Day Out

First activity was taking the Seilbahn (Cable Car) across Köln Rhein..

Fizz and her friend, Daryl joined us for lunch at Tandoori, the best indian restaurant in Düsseldorf..Yang penting ada tanda halal...

The food was a little bit expensive but it was worth it...seriously...

Third Day

Gotong-royong masak nasi tomato, lauk-pauk and mashed potato...To celebrate my mum's last day in Germany and my friend's Bday...

Köln - Rotterdam - Amsterdam - Rotterdam - Köln

Nabeyl jalan2 lagi during the weekends..

Trip to Rotterdam was planned when my mum came to Germany with my relatives last week.Ayah Non and Nda Liza had to go back to Malaysia on Saturday..Thought of meeting them up before they left..I invited my close friend, Rumitha to accompany me so that I won't get gelabah or what on my first trip with the ICE train.Besides, Rumitha has been longing to go out of Germany for quite some time...so why not right?

It was an exciting experience taking the ICE train, so called the fastest and most expensive train in Germany.Woh2...nasib ada student Bahncard...dapat la cheaper price..yeah..I could hardly wait to meet up again with my mum,Ayah Non, Nda Liza, Ayah James, Aunty Jolanda and Falinda.Best2..

The trip from Köln to Rotterdam and Amsterdam and back to Rotterdam and then Köln again was seriously a blast...I had tremendous fun...meeting up my relatives and taking my mum back to my place in Germany was like a dream came true...

Before we continued our journey to Amsterdam, we stopped for a while at Beurs, Rotterdam to buy Stroopwafels that I've been craving for quite some time..

I went on this boat last time with my family...it was fun and interesting seeing the view of Amsterdam from the eye of the boat..

Haha...had the intention to go in out of curiosity but unfortunately we made up our mind to leave this tourist attraction for our next visit in Amsterdam..hehe.

My cousin Falinda is actually a part time DJ known widely as DJ Mixturess. She's experienced doing her DJ show in Holland, Belgium and New York..impressive huh?

On the way back to Köln, we met this German lady..we had a lovely conversation with her...She was very friendly...If you notice, she was wearing Pottu or Bindi just like what Rumitha was wearing..haha..sharing is caring...

Episode Jejak Kasih....

Call me Anak manja...anak emas or anak emak...I don't even care..I don't mind admitting that I miss my family like crazy..like crazy2.like seriously crazy squared..like Beyonce's I'm-crazy-right-now crazy..yer nabeyl..sila deyam skang.

I know it's just been two months and few days since I left Malaysia and even though I'm able to keep in touch with them through Skype and other alternatives, it will never be the same as having them around.Huhu..

So, when I got this call from my dad few weeks ago saying that my mum will be coming to Europe with my uncle and my aunt, I was like so freaking excited that I just felt like doing bungee jumping right away..over la kan..Okay..Saper x excited dan happy geela dgr mak nak datang jumpa kan?So yeah...

There were some complications with the ticket booking and stuff...but alhamdullillah everything went on well and now my mum is in Europe.She is staying with my uncle, Ayah James, if you guys still remember him from my post One night in Amsterdam.But2..next week she'll be coming to my place and we will spend more time together...awww....

Ayah James, Ayah Non, Nda Liza and my mum came by to see me on Monday and spent a night at my place..Seriously a moment to cherish..."I felt like I was in a house in Malaysia" commented Rumitha.Everyone was having fun getting to know each other.Just like one big happy family.Paling best bila dapat makan sambal belacan ngan gulai kambing imported from Holland...memang nikmat terasa la kan...

We chatted and laughed till the sun goes down and the moon brightens the night...terjiwang la pulak..Yeah that was an awesome moment...The next day, we went to see Ayah James' friend in Leichlingen. He has been living in Germany with his family for quite some time now...Such a friendly and welcoming family..I got the chance to practice my German with his daughter and son.Humma2...

Before the episode jejak kasih with family members started, there was a special jejak kasih episode with the seniors ( Fizz and Apam). We went to have our lunch together and then right after we went to eat dessert at Eis Cafe Colonia in Appelhofplatz.Eating ice-cream desserts outside during Winter/Spring might be a crazy idea but you know...Malaysia Boleh!!!..So yeah...yg penting selimut ada..haha...
