FOOTBALL MANIA....The phenomenal World Cup has started again and it is something that everyone should not miss..Wohoo..Yesterday, my friends and I had our first World Cup Public View at the park next to the Lanxess Arena...Geil...Total Geil...Awesome geela okay...Berpanas terik, berpeluh bagai mandi lima kali sehari, screen xla sebesar mana, air dan chips yang still penuh dibuang begitu sahaja sebab xle bawah masuk, Coke yang berharga 4 euro satu hanyalah dugaan dan cabaran yang terpaksa ditempuhi..skema je ayat kan...Whatever it is, the atmosphere was effing awesome...humma2...

What's up with the title? Oh well, now I'm doing my Vorpraktikum (pre-study industrial practical) at a metal processing company called Christian Pohl.Click here kalau gigih nak baca.In Germany, before starting a Bachelor Degree, one must do a practical for about 10 to 13 weeks depending on the course chosen...there are a number of practicals that we have to do.And this is only the beginning.....

Woh2...first day was a bit hectic...we started working at 8am and ended at 3 pm...Tomorrow we'll start at 6am and ends at the same time,3 pm.....sigh...but it's a fun experience..the people working there are friendly and very helpful..not forgetting the opportunity for us to improve our German language skill..The most important thing is to fulfil the requirement by the university...so yeah..

I always hear how people would say that I resemble you a lot..I inherit most of your facial features and I'm happy to say that I also inherit your "map reading and driving skills"..haha..I am who I am today because of you and mak and the way both of you brought me up to this world...I cannot be more grateful to Allah for giving me such a wonderful family and especially a super wonderful father.

I miss the moments when we would spend quality time together, going shopping, just the two of us, even if it was shopping at Mydin..hee..i became closer to you once I got into the college for my preparation course...The father and son bonding seems to be strengthened from the moment onwards.We shared many things together...problems and achievements...

Memorable moments like when you first taught me how to drive, when I taught you how to create a blog, facebook and myspace profiles, when we did laptop-hunting together, when we ate secret recipe together (Cheese Cake is your fav - how could I ever forget), when you taught me how to use the ATM machine for the first time, when you taught me how to change the tyre for the first time, every single tiny things that you've taught me would be treasured in my mind forever and ever..I love you, Ayah..

Rendezvous with Strawberries...

It's Strawberry season here in Germany!!! Fresh and delicious strawberries waiting to be picked...Yeah2...Teruja sangat kot..It's my first time experiencing picking strawberries myself..so agak jakun skit ye rakan2...

My friends and I did some research to find any strawberry farm that is close by to our place..I even asked my German friends about it...and we managed to find a number of strawberry farms that are quite interesting...But in the end we decided to go to a strawberry farm in Dortmund..It took us nearly two hours to reach there...The first team to arrive consist of myself, Hakeem and Darwin...followed by rumitha and then muádz and zhafran..the reason is that rumitha had to do her practical earlier on that day..zhaf and muádz came late due to some complications in Köln...

Today I tried to make my own strawberry jam...wohoo...ikut recipe internet..pastu modified and letak ingredients sendiri..woh2...

 I had croissant with my self-made strawberry jam for breakfast...nampak cam sambal ke hape entah tapi yang penting sedap okay..heee..

Wet Barbecue...Hawt people....

Wet barbecue?? Hawt people??Haha..hawt people tu obvious la kan perasan tahap gaban...Wet barbecue brings two meanings...the first one is due to the fact that we had to do one part of the barbecuing under a bridge in the raining weather.The second meaning comes from the incident that happened after the barbecue...All of us had fun throwing drinks at each other...Coke..light coke..diet coke..coke with a kiss of lemon..you name it..We had tremendous fun...such an awesome day...owh and a sad one too.Why? After this,we would be separated to our respective practical places and universities...tsk2.

This Barbecue session is actually a farewell for the KBU AUSMAT-German 2008 group intake...howoe...now it's finally over..each of us will be starting to do our degree at our respective universities..Choices of courses ranging from mechanical, electronic to nanotechnology engineering...kewl huh?

While waiting for the degil arang to burn, we ate bihun and nasi goreng and whatever that has been mentioned above....lapar kot..dah la hujan..huhu...
