What is the best way to get to a glimpse of Scotland in a day?
The Scotland Highland Tours!!!
We were in Glasgow for about 3 days. It's pretty impossible to cover the whole Glasgow let alone Scotland in this short period of time. The best and most practical way to explore Scotland in a nutshell would be to go on a tour around the highlands. It was a last minute plan, we called the tour agency on the night before the tour and luckily we managed to get a place.
We chose to go on a 1-day tour covering Loch Ness, Glencoe and The Highlands. It was a wonderful tour with the best tour guide. The Highland tour by Timberbush Tours is highly recommended and not to be missed when you're in Scotland. We had a wonderful experience exploring this beautiful piece of land. We didn't just manage to cover the planned routes on the tour but also extra routes that gave us the opportunity to experience feeding wild deers and highland cattles. Simply Amaahzzzinggg!
The route started at 8.00 am from George Square, Glasgow. Below you can see the route map.
Inveruglas
From the departure point, we traveled to Inveruglas on the shores of Loch Lomond for a brief stop.
Skyfall
Amazing view of one of the settings in James Bond Skyfall film.

Feeding wild deer
Glencoe
After the lovely feeding session with wild deer, we climbed through the Highlands, over the majestic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to Glencoe. We stopped at the beautiful great valley of Glencoe. There was a bagpiper playing to set the mood. It was such a magnificent experience.

After that, we made our return journey to Glasgow. It was seriously an awesome experience exploring the highlands. I believe that this is the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Scotland has a lot to offer especially the magnificent views of it's Loch (Lake) and Ben (Mountain). We had a wonderful time and would love to come again to Scotland and explore other tours of this amazing land.
Stay tuned for the next post..
