Discover Brussels, the political capital of Europe with two official languages namely Dutch and French. Brussels has always been disregard and often described as a city that has nothing much to be discovered. It is mainly popular as a stopover for the journey between Amsterdam and Paris. However, I personally think that this bilingual city is a very nice place to visit and has a lot to offer.
What's the best way to explore a city in a short time? My advice is....Go for a free tour!!! There are two types of free tours that you can get in Brussels. The first one is with
newEUROPE and the second option is with
Brussels Greeters.
Even though it's a free tour, this 2.5 hour walking tour covers all the main sights of the old city of Brussels and offers you great information and an entertaining experience. The Free Tours work on a tips-only basis. The guides will never pressure you for tips. So it's really up to you if you find the tour worth giving tips for. :)
We met other Malaysians during this free tour.
The tour starts at the famous Grand Place, and leading through the winding streets of Brussels
