A last-minute vacation to Melaka
I am becoming too lazy to write lengthy post. So im gonna try to make it short and sweet this time even though it should be long and extended regarding to the things we have done the entire time we were in Melaka.More photos are to be shown though.
The people involved in this amazing vacation : My parents,my sister,my brother and his girlfriend,my aunt,my cousins and I.Why was it a last minute plan? This is because we decided to go there only on the day before. We tried to book either a hotel,an apartment or a chalet but all the options were occupied.Adoi.So we were just gonna take our chances and try to get a room once we arrived in Melaka.Gitoe la citer dier.
What happened on 28th and 29th December:
Ber-background-kan suasana kampung...nyaman
Bapak-bapak
Ibu-Ibu
Siap ada group kompang lagi...
Ketibaan pengantin lelaki dan perempuan
On the way to Melaka
Traffic jam on the highway..Bus pown gune emergency lane.

There are various wonderful places that are worth visiting in Melaka.Interesting places like A Famosa,Menara Taming Sari, The Stadthuys, Kampung Keling Mosque,Jonker's Street/Walk just to name a few.For those youngsters who think that Melaka is a boring historical place, think again!!Today, Melaka has undergone a tremendous change and is keeping up-to-date with the latest building design, fashion, food und so weiter. Take Mahkota Parade for example.A shopping paradise!!One can find designer clothes, boutiques, renowned restaurants and huge department stores..So yeah!!Mari ramai-ramai serbu Melaka!!!

What happened on 28th and 29th December:
- Kenduri at my cousin's house somewhere in Nilai.Kenduri kat kampung is truly special because of the surroundings(angin bertiup sepoi-sepoi bahasa, suasana yg nyaman, ayam berkokok, itik menguak und so weiter).Makanan dimasak secara gotong royong ye.Das hat gut geschmeckt!!Sehr Lecker!!

Bapak-bapak
Ibu-Ibu
Siap ada group kompang lagi...
Ketibaan pengantin lelaki dan perempuan
- Trip to Melaka str8 after the kenduri. There was a traffic congestion on the way to Melaka and even in Melaka. The reason: tragic car accident on the highway.Omg.Eine Katastrophe!!!
On the way to Melaka
Traffic jam on the highway..Bus pown gune emergency lane.
KAW KENAPA!!!
Nie la reason kenapa itu....gler kan..tragic sungguh!!
- We went str8 to Garden City apartment, which my aunt had reserved earlier while driving on the way to Melaka).Tertiba berjaya plak..Tahniah.Syabas.Herzlichen Gluechwunsh!!Congratulation.Yes2!!
Posing from the balcony of our apartment
- After bathing, praying, eating and watching tv,at about 9.30 we went to Jonker Walk.We were supposed to meet my eldest brother and his girlfriend there.
The most popular view in Melaka
The night view of Jonker Walk
Nabil at Jonker Walk
- Jonker Walk is like pasar malam, chowkit road, petaling street punya adik beradik. But the main reason why i came to Melaka was to shop for cute design t-shirts at Jonker Gallery.Unfortunately, the design that i wanted was out of stock and the salesgirl asked me to come on the next day.So i did,and i bought two t-shirts.Chomeyl dan teruja kegembiraan.
- That nite after Jonker Walk visit,we(together with my brother and Kak Meen) went to have our extremely late dinner at 11.30 pm.Everyone was ravenous,famished,starving...Haha..saje nak tunjuk kelaparan teramat. We had our seafood dinner at Umbai, which is located approximately 20 minutes from Bandar Melaka if you know the way.Sorry to say,we got lost.Haha.
While waiting for our seafood dinner

Muka nak suci jer kan..
Nad ngan teh tarik
Kazens....and I

- Back at the apartment,my cousins and I chose to sleep together in one room.Girls were supposed to sleep on the bed and guys sleep on the mattress we had brought along.Tapi x tido pown!
- We talked,chit-chatted,gossiped all night long that we lost track of the time.It was already 5.30am!!!None of us felt sleepy so we thought of doing something else while waiting to go for breakfast at 8. Owh before that,I forgot to tell u guys,29th December was my sister's birthday. So cam konon celebrate skit arh malam tu.
- So all of us were enjoying ourselves, dancing, singing, doing all sorts of things we could think of.Haha.Kak Meen helped to straighten my sister's hair and she put make up on her.She looked totally different. My other cousins waited for their turn.Funny.I wanted to get my hair straightened although i noe it's like impossible to do that, reasoned that my hair is too short.I was 15% successful in straightening my hair.Buat lawak tol.
This was the outcome of 15% success in straightening my hair
- Such an incredible, enjoyable and unforgetable night,i must say.All I can say is that we had incredible fun, even when we were scolded by our parents for making extreme noises(resulting from dancing, jumping and singing) and might have ticked off the neighbours.Luckily nobody came to complain.Nasib....
- We had our breakfast at around 8.30 at a mamak stall. We took back 4 packets of nasi lemak for my parents, aunt and my brother.
- Plan on going for a swimming after breakfast was called off since all of us were too tired as we didn't sleep at all the nite before.
- We all went to sleep and woke up at 1.30pm.Just about the right time to check out from the apartment.
- Before going back to Subang Jaya,we went once again to Jonker Walk, particularly Jonker gallery where i finally got the shirt i wanted.Next,we went to Cafe 501 to have our lunch.Nice place, nostalgic, reasonable price and delicious food. All wrapped into one with a ribbon on it.

The ambiance of dining at
Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur
First and foremost, let me give you all a short introduction about the hotel itself...
Located along Jalan Bukit Bintang, The Federal Kuala Lumpur has set the standards for Malaysian hospitality when it first opened its doors in 1957, to distinguished guests arriving for the Merdeka celebration. The Federal enters a grand era with a complete makeover that has transformed the hotel, preparing it for the 21st century while retaining the traditions that has made The Federal so special in the heart of Bukit Bintang.
The place where we had our dinner is called Revolving Bintang Restaurant, situated at the highest level of the hotel. Those people present were my well-heeled uncle and aunt whom I addressed to as Daddy and Mummy, my cousin(Sabrina), my brother and I. The first step into the dining room,I was enthralled by the luxurious and exclusive setting of the dining place. It offers fine western cuisine with an impressive 360 degree view of Kuala Lumpur's skyline and superb viewing of colourful lights from the buildings around KL.OMG.Atemberaubend Szenerie!!
The restaurant revolves from one point back to the point again in a period of one hour.So we had the chance to look at the skycrapers around the hotel without having to change places.LIKE DUH-UH Nabil...
Revolving Bintang Restaurant
Thanx to my uncle and his family,i was able to experience this wonderful indulgence.hurm...Gott sei Dank!!

The dinner started with an appetizer of mushroom soup with garlic bread. It is the best mushroom soup i've ever tasted!!Like seriously. What do you expect from an rm15 bowl of mushroom soup rite...I devoured fish and chips with a glass of an apple juice.I was really full.It was a large portion.Fuh.....luckily i managed to finish my food.I had to turn down my uncle's offer for a dessert as I was completely overstuffed. What a waste..haha!!!
Thanx to my uncle and his family,i was able to experience this wonderful indulgence.hurm...Gott sei Dank!!

Hari yang memenatkan...NOKTAH...
Headline nak eye-catching je kan ...tp memang kot..benar sngt.
On the way to Plaza Masalam
Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara
While waiting for the number to be called
Cermin di Escalator menjadi pojaan hati kami
At the arcade..woh2
We went to the arcade. Tyn semangat lebey nak main HOUSE OF THE DEAD, a multiplayer shooting game. Not bad heh! It reminded me of my childhood. Mengembalikan nostalgia dahulu kala main tembak2 hantu dgn keluarga tercinta.Okeyh. I bought Dentyne Splash whereas Tyn purchased a BBQ flavored Twisties. Have u tried Dentyne Splash?Sedap gler.Es schmeckt gut.Seriously.I tried it for the first time at my college. They were having this promotion on Futsal in water competition and were introducing the new product of Dentyne. I got two handfuls of the samples.Try it! U’ll never regret!
So we went up to level 6, where the JPN is located. Hanis and Iz had already collected their ICs and were behaving like small kids maloe2 nak tunjuk gambar IC. But gravely, what’s up with the passport photo on the IC. It always turns out to be HIDEOUS, DARK and LACK OF ALLURE. Stupid kan.Dahla we have to stick to the same IC for like FOREVER unless we lose them or we need to change from the old IC to Smart card..wah2. Kalau bleh report je hilang IC se mata2 nak ambik gambar lagi skali..OMG going through all those troubles again. SIGH. I bet the staffs there continue taking photos of themselves until they are satisfied with the outcome. X aci kot. Who knows? They might be doing that all along…
1901 Hotdog and Kyros Kebab were the places we took our lunch .Then we headed to PKNS .As my car was parked at SACC mall; we had to walk cross the road to PKNS. Iz sought Baju Kurung and Selendang(Scarf) to bring back to UITM Kedah. She didn’t find the scarf but did buy a pair of cute flowery designed Baju Kurung.Sangat Chomeyl.Hanis said the same thing.Tyn pown kot.mungkin..
Hanis desired to go to IKEA to buy a carpet and the things that she needed for her studies in UITM Segamat. She had asked me earlier whether im cool with going back home late, as in 8+ pm?I don’t mind really. It’s probably the last time we’re going to see each other. So what the heck right. However, Tyn had to go home early by 6.So I had to send her all the way back to Subang Jaya and took the NKVE highway straight to IKEA. Tiring I know, but Hanis wiled saying that she’ll share the fuel expense, so I agreed. Hanis mmg PNDI berlakon buat mata bulat besar2 just so that I’ll drive her to IKEA. Watch MOMOK the movie to catch more of her acting.Haha.
First thing I did when we arrived at Ikea was withdrawing my money.Hanis GEDIK nak tekan2 butang rm500 sedangkan duit pown x cukup..haha..maloe dah.Duit account kerja Domino's mmg nak habis dah ye..
Finding mug for instant mee cooking...
Showing a helping hand...Sibuk je sebenarnye.
Hanis, coming back to u.She didn't find the RM15 carpet that she had found few months back while shopping with her mom,so she didn't buy anything except for the file holders(5 in one plak) for RM 7+.Haha.At least we didn't have to pay for the parking ticket.
Seeing that she wanted the rm 15 carpet,
I suggested Hanis to buy 5 pieces of this carpet(5 x 3 = 15)
Jahit2 jadi la panjang.
Chomeyl kan this carpet section.Farbenfreudig!!
Colourful mmg the "IT" right now..
Then, we made our way to The Curve, where I wanted to get something for myself at Padini concept store but i didn't.There was a sale but nothing seems to catch my attention.Seufzen.Hanis managed to buy a pair of white shoes though.Lucky her...
I dunno what's wrong with me.But I'm always having the hard time making decision on choosing my clothes due to the SIZE(S / XS),price, quality, originality, suitability(colour) bla.bla.bla. Usually my friends would do the deciding part for me,but now most of them are going back to their universities namely UITM Kedah,Perak dan Segamat.Sigh.I NEED TO FIND A NEW SHOPPING PARTNER!!!Anyone interested?
On the way to Plaza Masalam
The day started with an excursion by the four of us, Iz, Hanis, Tyn and I to Plaza Masalam. Iz and Hanis wanted to collect their new Identification Card, shortened IC. As we arrived at the National Registration Department (JPN), all eyes were on us. Konon baru jalan on red carpet ke hape. Some were even giving us the piercing look. As if like they’ve never seen a cluster of teenagers before. Ignoring their intense look, we just acted like typical teenagers, taking photos, laughing along, kanak2 ribena-ing and making inquiries (question like “Kalau xde resit bleh ambik IC x?”).Now it’s the waiting part. So Tyn and I decided to go for a walk.

Shopping at IKEA would be a blast if we are able to throw money about. I mean spending lavishly without having to concern about the price of the products being sold. Beshnyer. If you can afford the price; for sure your house can be transformed wonderfully with the stuff you can get just under one roof, IKEA. I’m not saying that the things there are too expensive. Some of them are pricey while others seem affordable. As a student (I know I always say this and it's annoying), I can’t come up with the money for all the things I want. Everything looks so colourful, mesmerizing and appealing. If u have the talent to mix and match furniture, curtains and small decorations, dahla weih kaw memang phantastisch!!Okie, now im acting like a MAK CIK telling u guys I love IKEA so much sedangkan pergi bler mak mak dan bapa bapa semangat nak renovate or redecorate rumah je.

A man's review on Shopping in
BANGSAR...
The fabulous four: Hanis, Izzah, Tyn and I went on an outing in the area of Telawi, Bangsar. Such a cool place to hangout with ur friends and family members.
Actually, we went there because i've promised Hanis to give her a treat at her most favourite restaurant, Delicious...and also as a farewell as she is going to further her studies in UITM Segamat,Johor.
First thing we did was having our lunch at Chawan..at first we decided to have a bite to eat at Devi's Corner but changed it to Chawan instead. Not a bad decision i have to say. Chawan is a really nice place, cosy and a suitable place to mamam. Benar.
Hanis and Tyn
Nabil and Izzah
Shopping experience with HANIS MDG , Izzah and Tyn in BANGSAR
Bangsar is seriously a shopping paradise(Einkaufs-Paradies) for Shopaholics especially women and teenage girls..like duh-uh..
The actual plan of just getting something to eat and hangout was induced with shopping persuasion by our own shopaholic, HANIS ZALIKHA BINTI ZAINAL RASHID.I have to say, shopping with girls is undoubtedly an experience that every guy should undergoes..It has really widened my horizon on the new fashion trends,"what women are willing to do to look good",variety of boutiques available for both sexes etc.Why i blame this shopping indulgence on Hanis is because she was really in desperation to get a WHITE dress for an occasion. So,she persuaded us to follow her shopping.I wouldn't say i regret the experience, it was really exciting except for the part that we have to climb up stairs by stairs to visit most of the boutiques....at least we exercise a little after having our lunch..right...
We went into SO MANY BOUTIQUES that i failed to keep track with the number of boutiques we've visited.Shopping with Hanis....What do you expect??
Just to mention those boutiques that i still have in mind:
The marvelous thing about People’s…Egg is that they sell both men and women’s fashion. Although the men's section is limited, the boutique offers a wide array of men's clothing. It really suits my taste.Sangat Chomeyl!!Its trendy, up-to-date with the latest trends and suitable for those who are still young at heart.Unfortunately, I am still a student. How I wish I could earn my own money and spend it on clothes. There are a variety of clothes and accessories that you can choose from.Simply said in malay "Rambang Mata".
Street of Bangsar...
Posing after visiting a boutique
Baci Boutique
Hanis trying on a granny's dress
which i find kinda Chomeyl
A bit too much don't you think...Hanis agreed.
Waiting...waiting...waiting...
While waiting for Hanis to try on some of the dresses, i had a thought, Why is it so difficult for women to find a suitable dress.I mean, there are so many choices that they can choose from and there are numerous boutiques that offer a wide array of woman's apparel. But after spending much time with those girls on shopping,I realized that although u may find various clothing and accessories, not everything suits you well and different people have different taste and fashion sense.So...for guys..u should really understand what women want for them to look good and give your opinions when necessary..Don't give too much critics if you don't like a certain dress.Tell her that the dress is okay but she'll look better in the other dress.Something like that.
For guys,I think we are easier in making decision on what we wanna wear to look good but due to the higher price, lesser variety and unoriginality that makes it really hard for us to make the right choice.Guys or girls, both having problems to get up-to-date with fashion trend. What can I say...
Unfortunately,Hanis didn't find the white dress that she wanted...Sigh.But it was worthwhile as we spent our time together, gained experience in between and get to know each other better. An unforgetable experience,I must say.
DELICIOUS....
That's the name of Hanis' favorite place to get a bite of desserts.OMG. This place really lives up to its name,DELICIOUS.The wide range of desserts that they offer are just so tempting and everything seems so indulging and a must to try!!!
I was really satisfied with the food.We had fun tasting each others dessert..Mostly chocolate based....yummy2..The environment was at first a little bit romantic ,then it was just too bright.Suddenly they switched on the light.Haha.Funny.It's better i guess for our photo session.
The environment in Delicious
Carrot Cake
Brownies with chocolate sauce and ice cream on top
Tyn's chocolate cake
Omg...I envy Hanis' Chocolate Sundae with Strawberries and Crunchy stuff
The best dessert ever!!!A must try!!

One of the drawbacks to hangout in Bangsar is that there are limited free parking space. So we had to park inside Bangsar Village. The other thing is that the place is sometimes too crowded and there will be traffic congestion.Sigh.However, Bangsar is still a place where you can have fun and a FABULOUS outing.
Benar.

- Mooie
- People's....Egg
- Little.Black.Book
- Blöok
- Cats Whiskers
- Sew and Soul
- Gossips
- Baci
- Gallo
- Oopsie Daisie
- Sixpenze
The marvelous thing about People’s…Egg is that they sell both men and women’s fashion. Although the men's section is limited, the boutique offers a wide array of men's clothing. It really suits my taste.Sangat Chomeyl!!Its trendy, up-to-date with the latest trends and suitable for those who are still young at heart.Unfortunately, I am still a student. How I wish I could earn my own money and spend it on clothes. There are a variety of clothes and accessories that you can choose from.Simply said in malay "Rambang Mata".

which i find kinda Chomeyl
