It was like a dream come true. Stepping into the world of fairy tales, being amazed by beautiful buildings and rides, awing at various Disney characters was beyond my imagination. It was totally awesome. I was really excited when I got to know that my cousin, Nadira was planning to come to Paris last month to meet her friend, Amirul. She asked me if I would like to meet her there and spend a day at Disneyland Paris. I immediately said yes. I've been to Paris twice before but I've never stepped foot into Disneyland. So it was like my "jakun" experience exploring this wonderful amusement park.
We were lucky because Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary got extended. So we got a special 20th Anniversary Ticket which cost only 50 GBP. This celebration ticket is equivalent to a 1 Day 2 Park Hopper ticket which normally would be sold at 63 GBP. So we got a cheaper ticket for an unlimited access to both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park with the freedom to hop between both Disney® Parks as often as we like. Weee....
Having said that, we were still short of time to explore all the rides at Disneyland Paris even though we arrived there early. Imagine there is a total of 43 rides in both parks with queues ranging from 20 mins to 55 mins for each ride. So one day would definitely won't be enough to fully enjoy what Disneyland Paris has to offer. In our case, we skipped most of the kids rides and were pacing to go to the adults rides. I was there on a Thursday so I could imagine the situation being worst during the weekends. If possible please visit such themepark during weekdays to avoid the unnecessary queues.
